Bio

I live in Stanfield, Oregon which is located in Eastern Oregon just west of Pendleton. Where I attend Echo High School in Echo, Oregon and play baseball for the Stanfield-Echo baseball team.

I began my love for baseball around the age of 2 playing with my dad in the backyard. I played Cal Ripken Youth Baseball and Little League starting at the age of 5.  At the age of 9, I began playing travel baseball, where I had the opportunity to play for two teams in Idaho, and one in Oregon. In addition to my years of travel ball, I also played on the Columbia River 12-year-old All-Star team.

In high school,  I began playing basketball and football in addition to baseball. I have been a Varsity Athlete since my Freshman year in all three sports. My summers have consisted of playing both baseball and basketball summer leagues with my high school teams.

Unfortunately, my junior year was ended early when I suffered a season-ending ACL injury. I was out for eleven months, where I worked my tail off to be able to come back and play at my full potential. During those 11 months, I realized how one thing can be taken from you in a matter of seconds. I learned to play day to day not season to season. Though unable to play I committed to going to every practice and game over those 11 months. Being injured also provided me with an even more determined work ethic, I pushed myself in rehab every day to where I was sweating and wanting to stop. I always had it in the back of my mind that I could come back better than before, and I did. This year I lead my football team with 109 total tackles, was selected 1st Team All-League Middle Linebacker, in basketball I was the lead scorer and was 2nd Team All-League. I am now working hard to see what I can do during baseball.

I enjoy all sports and spend a considerable amount of time outside of practices playing pickup games of basketball at the community court, working on drills with teammates, as well as having epic ping pong matches with my baseball buddies.  In addition, I am an avid hunter, love to fish, go bowling with my friends and just generally spending time with family and friends.

My sports highlights include:  my team winning the 2016 3A Oregon State  Baseball Championship, being unanimously voted 1st Team All League Pitcher my Sophomore year, 1st Team Middle Linebacker in football this year and being selected to play in the East vs. West 8-Man All-Star Football game this June at Eastern Oregon University.
